Hawie and I have been living in South Korea (ROK: Republic of Korea) for well...longer than we might like to admit. ;) I arrived in the ROK in July 2010 and Hawie spent a year in the ROK in 2008-2009 then went home to find a job to no avail and landed back here in September 2010. We met through our good mutual friend, Herman. Hawie is from South Africa and I am from the good ol' USA. We both share a passion for new things and of course traveling! We have traveled together throughout Korea and a few other Asian countries, both together and solo. We are lucky enough to be able to fund these adventures by teaching! Hawie teaches at a Hagwan (a private afterschool) and I teach at a University. This blog will entail trips from around Korea, around Asia and the trips we will be taking on our gap year of travel around the globe. We hope you find this blog entertaining, fun, informational and inspirational. ENJOY!
